Empire Drive-In, 01SJ Biennial, 2010
A large scale multimedia installation and platform built out of salvaged materials, Empire Drive-In is a drive-in movie theater made out of wrecked cars. A series of film programs (including Flood Tide: Remixed) screened in the Drive-In throughout the Zero1 festival including short films, features, revivals and unusual live-film events.[see photos]

Swimming Cities, 2006-2009
Co-creator of the Miss Rockaway Armada, a collective art project that built and navigated junk rafts down the Mississippi River and gave performances during the summers of 2006-07. The voyage led to two more raft projects: the Swimming Cities of Switchback Sea (Hudson River, 2008) and the Swimming Cities of Serenissima (Venice, 2009). [see photos]

Stories from the Upper Mississippi, 2006-08: Oral history web project. In the summers of 2006 and 2007 oral histories were collected in small towns along the Upper Mississippi River and archived in a web-based map of the region through which viewers/listeners can navigate. [view site]
